App Volumes Provisioning Machines
Your provisioning machine should be loaded with some of the core pieces you will have on your typical corporate desktop. This specifically includes dependencies such as .NET versions. When you present an AppStack to a VDI desktop, if that VDI desktop .NET version is different from the AppStack version there could be issues. If you leave something out of your provisioning image that might be a newer/patched version (like .net or adobe) and the AppStack your building requires/will install a version if it’s not present, you could end-up with situations where older, unpatched versions of the software are suddenly floating around on machines when an AppStack is presented.
